The Finance Information Technology (FIT) department leverages technology to improve the operating environment of the Vice President for Finance senior management area and related university constituents. FIT is currently seeking an Assistant Director to lead a team in the design, development and support of innovative technology solutions that promote administrative efficiencies and enhance data collection and reporting.As the Assistant Director of FIT, you will be responsible for implementing systems that improve business processes within all areas of the VP for Finance. You will oversee a small team to design, develop, implement and maintain applications and data reporting systems. You will be responsible for assessing the needs of end users, collaboratively developing strategies to meet the identified needs, and ensuring that the intended outcomes are achieved. This position will provide highly responsive, effective and courteous services. Successful candidates will demonstrate a high degree of initiative and professionalism and have a diverse set of technical skills, the ability to understand business requirements/processes, the ability to multi-task and lead projects, and the drive to collaborate with business users and fellow FIT team members.
This position can accommodate a hybrid work arrangement with a combination of onsite and remote work each week.
