Job Description
Network/TAC Engineer

As a member of the Advanced Logic Industries, Inc. (ALI) team, you will be responsible for supporting existing clients related to their IT needs as well as helping to secure future clients.  This individual will be responsible for helping to overcome technical questions and remove technical objections encountered through the sales cycle.
You will be responsible for building strong relationships with Engineering and Sales team members, voicing product use cases and feedback based on customer and prospect opportunities.  You will be part of a team that works together to ensure our clients are receiving the highest standards of customer service. 
This position affords you the opportunity to predominately work remotely, with occasional light travel.
 
WHAT YOU WILL DO – RESPONSIBILITIES
 
  • Walk customers through problem solving processes for troubleshooting hardware, software and printer issues
  • Participate in meetings with vendors and customers, providing input on various initiatives
  • Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure systems stay operational (support during an outage)
  • Prepare client documentation including network designs, network assessments, implementation plans, and post-implementation documentation
  • Provide first and second level contact and convey resolutions to customer issues in a call center environment
  • Follow up with customers, provide feedback and see problems through to resolution
  • Keep apprised of patches, latest technologies, and upcoming infrastructure installations 
  • Research new technologies
  • Assist in efforts of the design, testing and implementation of new systems architecture
  • Work closely with OEM, break-fix and integration vendors during systems implementation and troubleshooting
WHO YOU ARE – JOB REQUIREMENTS
 
  • 3+ years of experience working in an IT infrastructure environment
  • 3+ years in customer facing role(s) working with clients
  • Experience in managing and supporting Windows server and desktop environments
  • Expericence with Active Directory, Exchange, and Office 365 support
  • Experience with VMware/vSphere administration
  • Experience with Cisco CUCM platforms, and/or other voice platforms
  • Experience in managing and supporting virtual server environments
  • Proficient in monitoring networking activity via remote support tools
  • Communicates effectively with managers, coworkers, sales team and clients
  • Provides excellent client service and consulting
