Job Description  
Biological Materials Production Manager
TechLab, Inc. develops, manufactures and distributes medical diagnostic tests. This company places emphasis on science and collaboration with Universities. We are looking to add a Biological Materials Production Manager to our team.
 
An employee in this position can expect to perform the following duties:
  • Oversee the production of critical raw materials used to manufacture products including antibodies and antigen
  • Develop and transfer new production processes
  • Troubleshoot existing production and scientific processes
  • Look for patterns of problems occurring in kits and determine ways to fix issues
  • Assign projects and schedule daily work for BMP employees and ensure deadlines are met
  • Chair BMP department meetings
  • Write and review Standard Operating Procedures and Master Batch Records to ensure they are compliant with all requirements
  • Supervise employees and monitor daily activities
  • Document departmental training
  • Work with Quality Assurance to complete defect, non-conformances, as well as corrective and preventative action reports
  • Recommend, and interview potential employees
