Job Description

Foundry26, a Virginia-based marketing agency serving clients across the United States, is seeking a 1st shift Call Center Representative in Salem, Virginia.  This job is responsible for delivering top-notch customer service by interacting with contacts by phone, e-mail, and live chat.  Goals are to provide information and generate interest in products and services, as well as determining customer requirements, and conducting follow-up interviews.

To succeed in this role, candidates will: 

  • Effectively manage high outbound call volumes (150+ per day) while providing customer support for inbound communication through phone, email and online chat inquiries.
  • Expedite leads to the appropriate sales representative.
  • Document all customer interactions within customer relationship management tool.
  • Maintain customer records and update account information as necessary.
  • Conduct follow-up interviews regarding specified products/services as required

About you:

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications with the ability to quickly learn preferred web-based tools, including Salesforce, Wrike, Box and Evernote.
  • Self-motivated, organized and detail-oriented.
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a professional customer service, call center or sales environment preferred.
  • Some college preferred. 

Must meet physical requirements for the job, including the ability sit for prolonged periods of time.  Able to lift/move items weighing up to 10 pounds.
