This position will be a FTE PeopleSoft Technical Staff position to be located and within our OnShore Remote Services Division in Roanoke Virginia. We are a Casual Work Environment with a collaborative team atmosphere.
 
Duration:  Direct Hire (Full-time w2)
Annual Salary: Based on Experience + Bonus Potential

What the position entails:
Maintain and support Oracle/PeopleSoft Solutions modules by providing analysis, design, development, testing, report writing, assistance with software upgrades and implementation of technology projects
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Work in a project environment on the implementation and upgrade of software systems to ensure the effective use and delivery of information, using a variety of applications and tools.
  • Responsible for report writing, application development (including modifications, bolt-ons, and interfaces) and aid in user training.
  • Provide support and analysis in a multi-tier environment including databases, web and application servers; collaborating with staff from each of these areas within IT Services.
  • Maintain proficiency with PeopleTools technologies (including Application Engine, Component Interface, PeopleCode, Integration Broker, SQR), MS Office, Reporting Tools, SQLPlus, and other application tools.
  • Assists Jr. Developers develop skills.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably with major related to Information Systems or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of PeopleSoft experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly acquire new technical skills.
  • An understanding of database structures.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to manage multiple and changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • The ability to maintain an effective working relationship with a diverse group of colleagues and client end users.
