Job Description

FoxGuard Solutions is looking for a full-time Inside Sales Representative to work within our growing cyber security business unit which serves the needs of critical infrastructure markets. The role of Inside Sales Representative is responsible for generating new leads and opportunities for our sales team. You will work on a high-energy team consisting of colleagues from engineering, product management, and marketing to develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of our customers and target markets. Your strong work ethic, passion to solve problems, ability to think creatively and collaborate with others is critical to your success in this position. This is an entry level position within our sales organization which has strong growth potential for the right candidate.

What you'll be doing…

  • Build and cultivate prospect relationships by initiating communications and conducting follow-up qualification in order to move opportunities into the sales funnel
  • Conduct outbound telemarketing activities against targeted accounts, prospect lists, and other call campaigns
  • Actively participate in tradeshows and event planning to maximize meeting potential
  • Accurately track sales activities, contacts and opportunities using the CRM database
  • Identify, qualify and validate prospective companies for targeted email campaigns and identify appropriate decision makers
  • Follow up promptly and diligently on leads and inquiries, representing the company in a positive manner at all times
  • Conduct pre-event calls to exhibitors and/or attendees to set appointments at tradeshows and seminars
  • Collaborate with sales, marketing and product management teams to develop and refine sales and marketing strategy
  • Think creatively to identify new markets, products, and revenue streams providing recommendations to the organization
  • Maintain a working knowledge of new technologies and standards relevant to target markets
  • Build industry knowledge and acumen

What you'll bring to the table…

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Business Administration or equivalent combination of education and professional sales experience
  • Knowledge of computing, networking and/or cyber security concepts
  • Prior sales experience in IT/OT markets
  • Knowledge of NERC CIP standards and/or other compliance standards related to CIKR markets
  • Experience in controls automation environments in the power utility industry and/or other CIKR markets
  • An entrepreneurial spirit with a natural curiosity, strong work ethic, and love of problem solving
  • Ability to stay motivated and work with minimal supervision
