Job Description Radford University invites applications for the position of Help Desk Technician in the Division of Information Technology.  This position will provide technical support to university clients regarding university computer systems and software. Provide telephone, on-site, and walk in support to resolve questions related to hardware, software, network and connectivity issues for faculty, staff and students

Required Qualifications:  Extensive knowledge of computer hardware and software including: Windows, MS Office, web browsers, Adobe applications, networked computing environments, TCP/IP, and e-mail. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service. Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing. Proven ability to use a wide variety of diagnostic tools to identify, analyze, and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity problems. Ability to lift/move 50 pounds.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting Mac OS X and mobile devices.
