General Role Description
Design and develop eLearning courses and curricula based on sound instructional design principles and a variety of instructional methodologies appropriate for all learner types
Role Accountabilities
  • Design and develop instructional content in collaboration with management and subject matter experts
  • Develop e-learning courseware using the Company’s authoring tools
  • Create knowledge checks and meaningful course interactions to increase learning and retention
  • Develop graphics and media assets to bring story elements and concepts to life visually
  • Re-conceptualize existing professional development classes, courses, and programs, currently in a variety of formats, for online delivery
  • Administer the Company’s global LMS (Learning Management System)

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, training and development, human resources, business, education, or related field via education and/or work experience
  • 3 years of experience with instructional design, E-Learning, professional development and training in a corporate environment
  • Demonstrated experience administering an LMS
  • Demonstrated experience using authoring tools
  • Demonstrated experience using video editing software
  • Demonstrated experience using virtual classroom technology
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of adult learning principles and learning theories
  • Demonstrated experience in the application of instructional design models
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Windows
  • Availability to travel domestically and internationally less than 5%

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology
  • Expertise in all phases of video production
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Articulate Storyline and Adobe Captivate
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Premier
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Adobe Connect and Skype for Business
  • Demonstrated knowledge of SumTotal Learn and SumTotal Talent
