About the Role:

Responsible for developing and implementing strategies to connect our teams to our mission, share corporate strategy messages, and engage Torc’rs in our values. Must be talented and proficient in change management to create innovative ways to effectively communicate information and transformation within the company, sustain our unique culture, and serve goals of talent acquisition and retention. The idea candidate is collaborative and a skilled writer with exacting editorial standards.


  • Drive an internal communications strategy that engages employees throughout multiple teams in conjunction with Corporate communication team, People Ops, and senior managers.
  • Work closely with team leads to ensure all employees are well-informed of the company's goals, milestones, and activities.
  • Plan, edit and write content for a variety of internal communications mediums.
  • Ensure internal communications messages are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organization encompassing national and international locations.
  • Develop campaigns to cultivate common culture across multiple worksites.
  • Support the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organizational perception and reputation.
  • Establish and maintain two-way channels to discover, curate, and share stories about our team, our technology, and our goals.
  • Search and communicate any information found to the VP of Marketing and Communications controlling the information with secure technology and locations as needed. Also, communicate any information requiring potential legal attention to People Operations Business Partners for review.


  • 8+ years of experience in employee or internal communications. Experience partnering with technical teams a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, public relations, marketing or related degree.
  • Experience crafting messaging that motivates, informs, and inspires.
  • Experience creating content for internal communication such as presentations, displays, or telecommunications.
  • Experience running day-to-day internal social platforms and/or intranet platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to build trust and strong working relationships, effectively create and proofread documents and reports, and communicate to a diverse workforce.
  • Keen attention to detail to identify problems and processes that don’t comply with protocol.
  • Critical/logical thinking to identify problems and provide solutions to ensure efficiency, safety, and quality.
  • Strong business insight and judgment, team orientation and collaborative style.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills to plan, develop, coordinate resources, prioritize effectively, and maintain competing demands simultaneously with frequent interruptions and in a fast[1]paced environment.
  • Ability to ethically handle sensitive and confidential information with impartiality and professionalism.
