Job Description

VPT, Inc., a global leader in providing power conversion solutions for use in avionics, military, space and industrial applications, has an immediate opening for a Failure Analysis Engineer in our Blacksburg, VA office. As a failure analysis engineer you will work directly with a team of engineers proving compliance for harsh military or space applications. Come join our team and be a part of a globally recognized power conversion solution company which offers an ideal Monday - Friday schedule, excellent benefits and so much more!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Troubleshoot high reliability circuits
  • Create failure analysis reports
  • Interact with customers and suppliers on a regular basis

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to use oscilloscopes and other common electronics test equipment
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well with cross functional teams
  • Ability to provide proof of COVID-19 vaccination or submit a valid exemption request
  • US Person required
