The Salesforce Administrator supports Carilion's hallmarks of service excellence and quality for all job responsibilities and will provide maintenance and support of existing Salesforce.com solutions as well as be responsible for the design of new Salesforce.com solutions based on business requirements. In addition, the Salesforce Administrator will provide maintenance on software currently in a production environment and regularly update documentation of all application changes made to that software.
The Salesforce Administrator must be confident analyzing, implementing, and testing software components and reports requiring complex business and data rules, in cooperation with customers, other developers, and system administrators.

Education: High school degree required. Associates/Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, healthcare, business, or equivalent experience required.
Experience: 3+ year(s) of experience as a Salesforce.com Administrator/Developer preferably across sales, marketing and HRIS/ERP clouds (particularly in building custom objects, page layouts, formula fields, workflow rules, sharing rules, validation rules, process builder, visual workflow, and Data Loader). Prefer Salesforce Admin experience and/or familiar with APEX and Java
Other Minimum Qualifications: Working knowledge of software development life cycle, change management best practices, agile development methodologies, ITIL. Proficiency with MS Office application suite, MS Project, MS Visio, and MS Sharepoint.
Must be a self-initiated team player with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Must be able to work independently and in a team setting. Ability to turn analytic insights into executable actions. Ability to work in cross-functional teams. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
