Job Description Position Summary:
The Quality Assurance Engineers primary responsibility is to perform manual testing of production issues and enhancements generally associated with Keyspring.  This person will also assist in writing and executing test cases for manual testing of Delta Dental of Virginia/Corvesta’s software initiatives. This position requires frequent exposure to confidential information.
Essential Functions:
  • Write and execute manual test cases
  • Participate in Agile team, planning, and status meetings
  • Report defects, monitor their status and retest
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work within HIPAA guidelines to protect confidential information
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in a STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) Preferred
  • Candidates with a minimum of 2 years experience in Quality Assurance and a High School Diploma also considered
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience with test management and defect tracing tools
  • Detail-oriented and possess strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to focus on deadlines and deliverables
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment under time constraints
  • Ability to function as a team player and work independently

  • Work environment: The work is limited to the office environment with occasional trips to other office facilities or locations necessitating walking outdoors or driving. The noise level in the work environment is usually minimal.
