Summary

Provide basic lab assistance to the Stock Value Stream department and other areas as assigned.

Authority

Incumbent has the authority to perform daily tasks/activities within established guidelines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Uses established procedures to:

- Perform basic maintenance on analytical instruments

- Clean glassware/flasks

- Prepare reagents, tuning solutions, and cleaning acids

- Refill consumable supplies

- Organize/purge old materials as necessary

- Help check and package (TCT) product

Miscellaneous support duties are to include:

- Clerical duties organizing CoAs and SDS

- General cleaning

- Help with bottle cleaning when needed

Adheres to established safety rules/guidelines

Wears appropriate personal protective equipment

Properly disposal of waste material

Other duties as assigned

Requirements

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required

- Ability to follow established procedures, policies and guidelines

- Ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision and also as part of a team

- Keen attention to detail

Preferred

- An interest in science and/or basic knowledge of the periodic table

- Prior experience in a lab setting

Salary Range: $18.00–$20.00 per hour, based on relevant experience and qualifications.
