Position Summary
The Senior Director of Strategy/Innovation and Business Development will drive enterprise-wide strategic planning and innovation initiatives to position Delta Dental of Virginia for long-term success. This role will lead cross-functional efforts to identify growth opportunities, evaluate emerging trends, and foster a culture of innovation across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship building.
Own and manage the business development pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and timely progression of opportunities.
Proactively research and benchmark industry best practices, regulatory developments, and innovations across dental/health insurance, finance, and related sectors to identify opportunities for improvement and drive external thought leadership.
