The Montgomery County, VA Finance Department has an immediate opening for a Finance Manager .  Reporting to the Director, the position is responsible for performing complex professional and difficult administrative work.  This position is responsible for coordinating, planning, and preparing detailed reporting for the annual audits of the County and related component units and agencies for which the County is the fiscal agent.  Currently, the County has three component units and is the fiscal agent for four entities.  Detailed reporting includes, but is not limited to, preparing audit workpapers, implementing new guidance, and preparing the County Annual Comprehensive Financial Report.
